Live music as far as the eye can seeSpend Saturday away from the crowds downtown and head up to Purgatory for Purg Jam – a day of great live music.
Bands scheduled to play are: The Jaden Carlson Band, Elder Grown, The Chava People, Little Wilderness and Jade Robbinson Duo. You’ll get a little bit of everything – funk, soul, jazz, pop-meets-hip-hop, fusion and rock.
Purg Jam runs from 1-8 p.m. Saturday at Purgatory Resort, 1 Skier Place.
Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 the day of the event. Kids younger than 12 get in free. Tickets include a free Mike’s Hard Lemonade for those of you 21 and older.

Animas City Theatre to throw album release partyHead down to the Animas City Theatre on Friday night to help meloD celebrate the release of his debut album “Brain Spiders.”
Three years in the making, “Brain Spiders” creator and producer Dakota Myers has learned to capture his own “Brain Spiders” and release them. The result is high-energy electronic music that will help you escape from your own reality for a night.
Soul Atomic and The Monogahela will also be playing.
Doors will open at 8:30 p.m. and the show will start at 9.
This is an 18 and older show.
