‘Greater Tuna’ on stage

C, Tuna, Texas, is at the center of the fast, funny and funky play, “Greater Tuna.” of the , which, “It’s one of the funniest shows I’ve ever seen. Bikes, beer and tunes

What’s better than riding bikes? Riding bikes for beer. To kick off the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic on Friday, cyclists will ride from Ska Brewing Co. to Buckley Park, where they will be treated to a free, commemorative pint glass of the 2015 version of Face Plant – co-brewed by Ska and Steamworks Brewing Co. DJ Codestar will play music from 3 to 6 p.m., and Carrie Nation & The Speakeasy, , from Wichita, Kansas, will play from 6 to 9 p.m.

Ace Revel goes acoustic

Ace Revel, a subsidiary of local rock band Hello, Dollface, will play an acoustic set from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Diamond Belle Saloon. Ace Revel’s Ashley Edwards and Jesse Ogle have combined musical forces to create an entertaining jazzy-rock-acoustic vibe. No cover.

‘Upbeat’ bluegrass

After an Iron Horse Bicycle Classic-filled Saturday, get to El Rancho Tavern to see local bluegrass band La La Bones. The Durango sextet has original songs to play, and their bass player, Jimi Giles, says their shows are always “upbeat.” The music begins at 9. No cover.
