Burlesque workshopLadies, it’s time to grab your highest heels and sassiest, come-hither smile and head over to iAM MUSIC’s studio this weekend for a Burlesque Workshop – Empowering dance Workshop for Women.

The workshop will be taught by Corrima Llopart, whose stage name Coco Blu, a professional dance instructor in Taos, New Mexico.

From noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, you will explore the glamorous, sensual, liberating side of being a woman.

The class costs $40, with proceeds going to iAM MUSIC, and will be held at iAM MUSIC’s studio at 1315 Main Ave., No. 207.

This is an 18 and older class.

Help The High Rollers celebrate CD releaseLongtime local country band The High Rollers will be celebrating the release of their new CD “Too Many Marshall Tucker Songs” on Saturday night at the Wild Horse Saloon, .

The band is Andy Janowsky on bass guitar and lead vocals; Steve Dejka on drums; Darren Stroud on lead guitar and vocals; Jeff Johnson on fiddle, guitar, banjo and vocals and Ryan McCurry on keyboards and vocals.

Ten bucks gets you in the door and a CD or download card – a pretty sweet deal, considerng the CD alone will set you back $15.

The party will start at 8:30 at the Wild Horse, 601 East Second Ave.
