The Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media and Rocky Mountain PBS will present the episode “The Wickiup Investigation” from 6 to 7 p.m. (5:30 p.m. doors open) Wednesday at Ignacio High School, 315 Ignacio St., in Ignacio.
The episode explores the rare and fragile”wickiup” shelters that reveal the ways the Ute people lived and traveled across Colorado from prehistory to the present day. There will be a question-and-answer session after the show.
This event is free and open to the community for a night full of history.
