A spoiled princess who doesn't want to marry, an evil Roman senator who wants her to wed, and three thieves who try to join the court of the princess combine for this spring's Bayfield High School musical, When in Rome.
More than 20 Bayfield High School students are in the cast, along with the crew and professional musical accompaniment.
"This energetic musical shows what happened in Rome stays in Rome," said director Mark Zaharko with a chuckle. Derek Smith is the musical director, and Sarah Ripley of Escalante Middle School is the artistic director.
Performances are at 7 p.m. nightly Friday, Saturday and March 23 and 24 so the students are done for spring break.
Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $6 for students and seniors.
