This election, vote for Democrats

Coloradans want to live in a country governed by people of reason, decency, and a willingness and dedication to Theodore Roosevelt’s principle of “all (people) up, not some (people) down.” We want the free expression and exchange of ideas and teachings that commit to the knowledge that truth exists and should govern policy. We reject the despicable conspiracy garbage that the Alex Joneses of the dark and the open web espouse for pure profit. We recognize and accept a common vision for the future of our country’s diverse families.

Hard-right folks want and mean to control every aspect of your life from political choices to financial and very personal ones. These folks will not make your life safer or healthier unless you are in the mega-rich class. Democracies run best when run by the rule of law, not by fiat, by laws that We the People have voted for or have accepted as benefiting the majority despite our individual perspective.

This election presents problems requiring long-term solutions, not big shiny tinfoil tactics that lazy and fearful politicians love but that change little – their words and deeds are full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Vote for people who understand working for a living and who want your grandkids to breathe clean air and drink uncontaminated water. Vote for people who work locally and with state leaders vs. the all-or-nothing approach to lousy government. Vote for people who work with others, not constantly against them. Vote for Democrats.
