The annual Christmas in Vallecito event starts with a tour of homes from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight.
Events continue Saturday with a pancake breakfast at Vallecito Lake Country Market from 7 to 11 a.m. The Cookie Shack offers a variety of homemade cookies for sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m at Rocky Mountain General Store.
A kids' party will be at the Vallecity Community Event Center from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
Festivities continue that evening at the Lake House with a poker run at 5 p.m., music by the Pete Guiliani Band, and an ugly sweater contest at 9 p.m. The winner of the home lighting contest also will be announced at 9 p.m.
On Sunday, the second pancake breakfast takes place at Vallecito Lake Country Market from 7 to 11 a.m., followed by NFL football on the screens at the Rusty Shovel and the Lake House.
There also are giving trees, sponsored by the Vallecito Service League. Gifts for children and adults can be donated at the Vallecito Lake Country Market through Dec. 20. Donations for four-legged friends are being accepted at the Rusty Shovel.
