A three-car collision took place late Tuesday morning on County Road 501 near Forest Lakes.
Upper Pine River Fire Protection reminds drivers to please slow down during snow, rain and icy conditions. Upper Pine personnel responded to the incident and asked drivers to slow down as they were working in the roadway to clear out the vehicles.
The National Weather Service forecast from Grand Junction is calling for more snow and rain today, a clear weekend, then more snow on the way for Sunday night, Monday and Tuesday.
A driver who had to wait for the wrecks to clear said she was diverted onto other county roads, so it took her awhile to reach her destination.
Upper Pine did not have any further information on the collisions.
