The University of Utah congratulated 8,628 graduates in the first-ever virtual commencement ceremony April 30. This class is the first to graduate from the school since it was selected as a new member of the Association of American Universities.
Local graduates include: Logan Mcglamery of Durango, whose major is listed as bachelor of economics and bachelor of environmental and sustainability studies; Catherine Dellinger of Durango, whose major is listed as bachelor of science nursing; and Casey Patten of Durango, whose major is listed as bachelor of health, society and policy.
