I wish to express my deep concern about the use of bad puns in Herald headlines. This was particularly egregious in the June 24 front-page story, titled “A mitey effort,” about research to control mites on bees with thyme. Such sad attempts at humor only diminish your fine paper.
I also question the newsworthiness of the article since everybody already knows that thyme heals all wounds.
