The Durango High School football team will be backed by its faithful fans at noon Saturday when the No. 13 Demons host No. 5 Erie in the CHSAA Class 3A State Football Playoffs quarterfinals. Gates will open at 11 a.m., and tickets will cost $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and students. Only CHSAA passes will be accepted. Credit cards will be accepted at ticket windows.
The Demons will need a good crowd of students and community supporters to pull off an upset and reach next week’s semifinals. Get to the game early and get loud. Don’t forget your “Go Demons” spirit banner. The Durango Herald will pass out banners near the entrance gate beginning at 11 a.m.
