Manna presents the fourth Annual Durango Voice fundraiser – similar to the TV show “The Voice” – at 7 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Henry Strater Theatre, 699 Main Ave. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m.
Eighteen local contestants will perform before an audience for the live blind auditions. They hope one or all of the four judges will turn their chair around and choose them to receive a month of professional voice coaching and go on to the finals. Each judge will select three finalists for a total of 12 who will move forward to the finals.
Finalists will compete again April 6, when three winners will be selected.
Tickets are $36 and are on sale now at www.henrystratertheatre.com. Proceeds from The Durango Voice support the efforts and mission of Manna soup kitchen.
