Tico Time River Resort opens south of Durango

Tico Time River Resort has opened 22 miles south of Durango, near the state line.

The RV resort is located on the Animas River and features a river take-out, river access, a large selection of on-site activities such as rafting, paddle boarding and kayaking, local attractions and a one-acre pond with two sand entrances.

The resort is family-friendly, dog-friendly and green-friendly. It also offers 22 full hook-up spaces offering both 30 and 50 amps. The resort will have a total of 82 spaces at completion. Additional amenities will be built in the future.

“Tico Time,” is a non-chalant attitude similar to “island time,” where people are called to relax and live in the moment. The resort serves as a reminder to live in the moment and enjoy life.
