I live in Bayfield, and I am concerned about the recall effort to unseat one of our county commissioners.
This effort is a waste of taxpayers’ money and time. Gwen Lachelt is term limited and will end her term in two years. I urge citizens to refuse to sign the petition for her recall, and if they are concerned about the land use plan, get involved and voice an opinion on the issues raised by the plan. Use your voice as a citizen to make the plan better!
We are a community and our citizens can work together to make our vision of this county a reality. We don’t need to lower ourselves to attacking an individual in order to get our needs met.
We are better than this!
