You can advocate for the benefit of the planet!
We don’t need to stand on the sidelines as we suffer drought, ensuing fires, low rivers, and more.
We needn’t leave the future of our beloved planet to politicians.
Most of us live here because we love the mountains, the forests, and the rivers. These natural wonders are calling us to act for their sake.
Warning of the risks of “runaway” global warming, U.N. secretary general António Guterres called global leaders to rein in climate change faster.
“Climate change is the defining issue of our time, and we are at a defining moment,” he said.
“Scientists have been warning us for decades… Far too many leaders have refused to listen.”
Countries around the world are far short of meeting goals they set under the 2015 Paris accord to reduce emissions warming the planet over the last century.
The next climate talks are Dec. 3 in Poland. Will industrialized countries, producing most global emissions, set higher targets for reducing their emissions?
We, the people, must speak out, let politicians know how they must defend the rights of the whole planet.
Citizens’ Climate Lobby has given me the opportunity to act. When the people lead the leaders follow.
It is our time, our duty to take the lead to preserve not only our beautiful mountains and rivers but our planet suffering the ravages of the climate crisis.
