Bayfield girls basketball falls
Tournament games have proven tough for the Bayfield High School girls basketball team.
The Wolverines lost their first contest of the Rumble in the Jungle in Aztec to Artesia High School (Artesia, N.M.) 82-52 on Thursday night.
This follows two losses at the Scorpoin Invite in Farmington before the holiday break.
BHS (1-3) gave up more than 80 points for the second consecutive game.
Statistics for Thursday’s game weren’t immediately available.
The Wolverines will continue play in Aztec on Friday at a time and against an opponent to be determined.
