The Town of Bayfield has embarked on an update of their 2006 Comprehensive Plan.
A comprehensive plan is a document that sets a vision and creates a set of strategies and recommendations for the town to achieve that vision. Since the last comprehensive plan, the town has been a part of more than 30 different studies and plans that evaluated the economics, infrastructure and land use components of Bayfield. The town has hired our company as a consultant to partner with them and evaluate all the plans and create a strategy to move the recommendations from these plans forward.
The consultant, RG and Associates, has met with several different stakeholders in the community over the last few months and reviewed all 30-plus plans Bayfield has.
The result of these meetings and research is an Existing Conditions Report. The town is looking for feedback on this report prior to moving forward with new recommendations for the town.
The report is available for review and comment on the comprehensive plan project website, www.planbayfield.com.
If you have questions about the project or would like to get more involved, please reach out to the project team at PlanBayfield.com
