‘Traffic on Frontage Road out of hand’

The flow of traffic on Frontage Road has gotten out of hand (or always has been).

There was an entirely preventable car accident there at the end of September. For those who rarely travel it, the flow of traffic can be confusing and treacherous, especially given that the entire stretch of road is severely lacking traffic signs that would give instructions to the knuckleheads that come to a complete stop when entering or exiting Highway 160.

The Juniper School in Bodo Industrial Park has greatly increased the traffic on Frontage and, generally, in the Bodo area. Despite the number of sheriffs riving around, the whole area feels like the Wild West. Surely, “Keep Moving” signs wouldn’t break the back, Durango.

There has got to be some sort of solution(s) to the chaos. Please, help the residents on the south side of town, the people who have children in the Juniper School and the unsuspecting travelers on Frontage Road that experience (and witness) near misses multiple times a week!
