Trails 2000 has hired Emma Millar as its trail crew lead.
Millar is a Fort Lewis College graduate and collegiate cycling champion.
Millar will oversee the planning, construction and maintenance of trails, trail project management, mapping of trail maintenance areas.
Trails 2000 also announced that Steve Schwartz has joined the board as treasurer.
Schwartz is a long-time Durango resident and works as vice president for finance and administration at Fort Lewis College, where he has been employed for 20 years.
Schwartz serves on the board with Daryl Crites, board president; John Baxter, board secretary; and Melissa Youssef.
