Trails 2000 requests volunteers to help with trail work this weekend.

On Saturday, volunteers should meet at 9 a.m. at the Leyden Trailhead in Overend Mountain Park. Come work with the Friends of Mountain Park neighbors on brush cleaning to open corridors. Trails 2000 will provide all tools, instruction, water and snacks. No experience is necessary.

On Sunday, volunteers should meet at 9 a.m. Sunday at the Purgatory Nordic Center. Come work on tread clearing to prepare the winter trails for grooming. The Nordic Ski Team will be on hand. Come support the team and buy a Nordic Center season pass. No experience necessary.
