Mountain Middle School will host Transgender 101 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the school, 108 W. 31st St.
Adrien Lawyer, co-director of the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico, will help educate the Durango community about transgender people, their lives and issues. Lawyer will provide a basic training that covers terminology, data, history and etiquette, including a chance to engage in dialogue and have participants’ questions answered directly.
