Because of enhanced security for Election Day, the La Plata County Treasurer & Public Trustee office at 679 Turner Drive, Suite B, will be closed to the public on Nov. 5.
Those who want to submit payments may do so by using a drop box outside the treasurer’s office (cashier’s checks and money orders only will be accepted via the drop box). Staff members will be working remotely.
