American Heritage Girls Troop CO2517 will participate in Wreaths Across America at Greenmount, Crestview, Ignacio East, Ignacio West and Ouray Cemeteries at 10 a.m. Dec. 19. Troop members will honor the 2,100 service members buried at these five cemeteries with the placement of live, balsam veterans’ wreaths.
Community members may help honor and remember fallen heroes by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day or inviting family and friends to attend.
