Authorities say man suffered serious injuries
A commercial truck driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries Tuesday after crashing into a tree southeast of Durango.
Colorado State Patrol Capt. Adrian Driscoll said the truck crashed near mile marker 22 on Highway 151, near Arboles.
A Flight for Life helicopter was called to take the man to the hospital, but crews were unable to fly Tuesday afternoon, Driscoll said.
Instead, the man was taken by ambulance to Pagosa Springs Medical Center.
Driscoll did not have additional information about the crash late Tuesday, including the man’s name.
