Trump, Musk not fixing the efficiency problem

Certainly our federal government requires downsizing, and more efficiency. We have all had frustrating, confusing, time-consuming incidents in this regard.

But, is the current “house cleaning” by POTUS and DOGE treating the symptoms or the disease?

In any objective analysis, one must consider and address the “W” questions: The who, what, why, where, when, which (and how). And this must be performed objectively without emotion, bias or prejudice.

If this were to be accomplished in all agencies and departments from the bottom to top it would become self-evident which tasks and personnel could, should and would need elimination.

As in most human reactionary decisions and actions, the pendulum swings excessively in one direction, causing greater frustration, confusion and inefficiency. It does not “fix” the problem.

I believe that both Trump and Musk are intelligent men, and would humbly suggest they take a long, hard look in the apolitical mirror and reassess their motives, tactics and strategies.

Just a thought. Because, like it or not, we’re all in this together.
