According to media reports, the number of people crossing the border has dropped dramatically, and will probably continue to do so.
Almost certainly, that steep decline is due in part to President Trump’s brilliant bombast.
By pledging to build a wall and to increase the number of Border Patrol agents, President Trump has effected this decline without actually spending a great deal of U. S. taxpayer money.
Extraordinary, don’t you think?
