Trust is the issue when selecting a new county treasurer, all right. I trust Allison Morrissey because I trust a professional accountant with professional training (she is a certified public accountant with a master’s in business); because I trust an experienced businesswoman who has worked professionally managing money and people throughout a long, successful career in industry; because I trust a community member who has lent her skills to the Durango nonprofit community over and over. I know Allison. I’ve worked with her supporting our Durango nonprofits. Let’s elect a professional money manager, not a professional politician.
