The 35th National Night Out, an annual event that celebrates community safety, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Buckley Park, 1250 Main Ave.
The event is free, open to all and provides a fun and casual atmosphere for residents to get to know their neighbors and meet local law enforcement personnel from Durango Police Department, La Plata County Sheriff’s Office and Colorado State Patrol.
The party will feature interactive booths, games, obstacle course demonstrations, police dogs, police vehicle tours, a raffle for prizes and a performance by Stillwater Music. Food from Deputy Dogs, Rita’s Tacos and Lydia’s Sweet Treats will be available for purchase.
