The La Plata Electric Association elections are just around the corner. If you use electricity, you are a member of this cooperative. It’s important to pay attention to this election to assure that the mission of LPEA – “to provide our members safe, reliable electricity at the lowest reasonable cost while being environmentally responsible” – is continued.
One incumbent candidate with experience on the board and a commitment to this mission is Jack Turner. He will continue to work toward lowering electric rates, promoting local energy sources and serving the LPEA membership with wisdom and experience.
