Durango needs a board of directors to tackle the challenges facing the city. City councilors need to have experience and knowledge of budgets, finance, long-range planning, organizational efficiencies and consensus building.
We are fortunate to have two candidates, Barbara Noseworthy and Kim Baxter, who have that experience and knowledge. They will bring integrity, accountability and creative thinking to the table. We need doers, those who know how to achieve and who will listen and act in the best interest of the citizens of Durango.
