U.S. Highway 160 at Gem Village was temporarily closed Thursday morning after a two-vehicle crash.
A Colorado State Patrol spokesman said the crash closed the highway between Durango and Bayfield around 8 a.m.
By 8:40 a.m., authorities were able to open the highway to one lane, alternating traffic. The road was fully reopened around 9:20 a.m.
State Patrol reported only minor injuries in the crash, however some occupants of the vehicles needed to be extricated.
