Two vehicles involved in incident
At least one person died in a head-on crash two miles east of Bayfield closed U.S. Highway 160. The highway was closed Wednesday morning in both directions.
U.S. Highway 160 closed for more than two hours Wednesday morning for a fatal crash a couple of miles east of Bayfield.
The crash occurred sometime before 7:50 a.m. near mile marker 106, said Capt. Adrian Driscoll with the Colorado State Patrol.
Two vehicles were involved, including a 2010 Toyota pickup and a 2008 Chevy Silverado, he said.
