Pedestrians take shelter from rain showers moving through Durango on Monday morning. Keep those umbrellas and jackets handy this week – rain, scattered thunderstorms and cooler temperatures are in the forecast through Wednesday. The National Weather Service says there’s a 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms Monday evening, a 70 percent chance on Tuesday and a 60 percent chance on Wednesday. High temperatures are expected to be in the mid-to-upper 50s. The rainy weather should taper off on Thursday, with sunshine in the forecast for Friday.
