There will be a public meeting to inform homeowners of the inclusion of some properties from Archuleta County into the Upper Pine River Fire Protection District, resulting in lower or available fire insurance rates for homeowners.
The meeting is from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 20. Questions and answers will take place after the presentation.
