There are upsides and downsides to living in rural Bayfield. First the bad news: Our internet had been down for four days, dispatch was backlogged with calls and there was no indication when service would be back up. Argh. This stressed me out because I had a Zoom webinar to present for 140 people.
Then, I remembered one of the best parts of living in Bayfield: the outstanding Pine River Library. Not only did librarians print my 14 pages of notes that my wireless printer could not. But they booked for me the library’s soundproof media room and the presentation went off without a hitch.
So thanks to everyone at the Pine River Library for easing my stress with professionalism and compassion.
