Apparently with the advent of full electronics guiding one’s every movement, breath and heartbeat, the average driver has either become numb to basic courtesy, rude or just plain out of body. Unfortunately, someone decided several years ago that roundabouts were a great addition to the driving experience. This was obviously never discussed with longtime ranchers who have to haul large stock trailers, but I digress.
Has the average turn signal become a mystery to so many? Is it an untenable burden on drivers to actually signal when coming down a side street into a roundabout, to posses the acumen to activate said turn signal? Those going around said roundabouts and continuing on a relatively straight path haven’t a clue what other drivers are going to do!
If your turn-signal finger is somehow lacking sufficient strength (or if it’s merely used to flip off someone) to activate the affixed turn signal, there are no doubt myriad strengthening exercises to remedy that; let’s start with the brain.
As a wise sage once opined: “Forget world peace, try visualizing activating your turn signal.”
