The city of Durango is now accepting applications for the Utility Refund Program.
Residents with a total household income no greater than 50% of the Area Median Family Income for La Plata County by family size, as published by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for 2020, may qualify for the utility refund.
Only residents who owned and occupied a home within the city limits that receives city of Durango utility services and resided in such residential home Dec. 31 and for at least 10 months of 2020 are eligible to apply. The applicant must apply for all family members within the household and must list all family members and identify related income for each family member. Applicants must meet all program requirements.

All forms and supporting documents must be submitted by July 30.
