The annual Vallecito Ice Fishing tournament will be held Feb. 9 at Vallecito Reservoir.
Registration will be held at the Vallecito Community Event Center at the north end of the lake from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The entry fee is $35. Kids 15-and-under are free with a paying adult.
The first-place trout, judged by weight, will win $750, while second place is $500 and third place is $125. The same pay scale will be rewarded to the top northern pike/walleye. Weigh-ins will be held at 2:30 p.m., no exceptions, at the Vallecito Community Event Center.
