Lake Vallecito will hold its chili cook-off and supper 5 to 7 p.m. June 11 at the Vallecito Lake Event Center, 17252 County Road 501, to raise funds for the July fireworks display.
Eight to 10 entries will be accepted to compete in the chili-cook off. The winner will receive a first-place plaque designed by artist Sandi Rusinko. Entry fees are $10. Call 884-6021 to reserve a spot.
Cook-off and supper costs are: $8 for chili or hot-dog supper, $10 all-you-can eat, $8 to taste all entries; and $5 to taste five entries.
