A vehicle crashed into an electrical box early Saturday morning at the intersection of South Camino del Rio and County Road 210, near Centennial Plaza in south Durango.
Details of the crash were not immediately available.
The crash damaged the traffic signal at the intersection, and Colorado Department of Transportation crews made temporary repairs Saturday.
CDOT will turn off the traffic signal Sunday to repair the light between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
“A short-term fix has been made and the light is currently operating normally, but tomorrow motorists can expect slow traffic and some brief delays while driving through the intersection when we make the permanent repairs,” CDOT traffic and safety engineer Sam Sanders said in a news release.
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane, and motorists are asked to use caution while driving.
