To honor law officers who have been killed in Colorado and across the nation, volunteers at the Pine River Veterans Memorial replaced one of its flags with the black and blue law enforcement flag to fly at half staff earlier this month. The Prisoner of War/Missing in Action flag is flying again at the memorial, which is located inside Pine River Cemetery on County Road 501.
