Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 4031 will host three soldiers (Cody Brakefield, Josh Wright and Kevin Keplinger) for a pit stop on their ride from Yorktown, Virginia, to San Clemente, California, to raise awareness for the rise in veteran suicide rates.

The soldiers will arrive at the VFW Post 4031 on Saturday. They will be available for a meet and greet from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Sunday before they leave for the Grand Canyon.

Their goal is to raise awareness to the alarming numbers of deaths by suicide among soldiers and veterans by riding for 22 days, more than 6,000 miles, and stopping at multiple bases.
