A series of beginning beekeeping classes will be offered Friday and Saturday at Durango Veterans of Foreign Wars, 1550 Main Ave.
The comprehensive classes will cover the basics of beekeeping, approved by the Colorado State Beekeepers Association Master Beekeeper certification.
Veterans receive free admission.
