Volunteer help wanted at Dolores public lands office

The Dolores public lands office is currently looking for volunteers who have interest in National Forest and BLM public lands in the Dolores area to provide front-desk services on Wednesdays and Fridays at the public lands office.

The Dolores public lands office is currently looking for volunteers who have interest in National Forest and Bureau of Land Management public lands in the Dolores area to provide front-desk services on Wednesdays and Fridays at the public lands office.

Duties include answering phone calls, learning public land information of the area, bookstore support with inventory ordering and maintenance, selling interpretive products and required permits and passes, and other office duties.

Winter months are the slow season, and a great time to learn.
