Durango School District 9-R needs 30 to 40 volunteers for the fourth annual Keys to High School Success conference for eighth-grade boys.
The goal of the conference is to give students the tools to build positive self-image, strong relationships with others and a sense of self-advocacy, all of which lend to success in high school and beyond. Students will gain skills in these areas through interactive workshops.
The conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. May 5.
