In recognition of Earth Day, Trails 2000 will hold the Ella Vita trail-work kickoff event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 22 at the Ella Vita trailhead, located at the end of the cul-de-sac on Ella Vita Court.
Participants will re-route a section of the Ella Vita Trail during the work day, and should wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, a sun hat, sunscreen, and bring a water bottle and rain jacket.
No experience is necessary, and Trails 2000 will provide instruction, safety guidelines, tools, gloves, water and lunch for crew members.
