Organizing for the 72nd annual Gem and Mineral Show is underway and volunteers are needed.
The three-day event will be held July 10 to 12 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds and Events Center, 2500 Main Ave.
This event relies on local volunteers to make it happen. Volunteering for at least one shift will grant people free access to the show for all three days.
