Tim Walsworth has the experience needed to do the job right. What has the experience been for the county under the current treasurer? In 2017, a review of transactions from December 2016 and January 2017 showed a 10 percent error rate. A material weakness was found that caused the county to be flagged as an audit risk. This audit risk cost the county taxpayers an additional $48,000 in audit fees for the next two audit years.
