Recently, at the Club 20 debates in Grand Junction, Barbara McLachlan demonstrated that she will be an exceptional leader for our communities here in House District 59.
Passionate about our public health and the environment, Barbara McLachlan made it clear that she is going to work for the people who live and play in the southwest, not for industry interests. In fact, when asked about her top three issue priorities, she mentioned the environment, economic diversification and education funding.
Barbara is tuned in to what we need to strengthen our local economies, and she will work hard to bring broadband and clean energy jobs to the southwest.
While McLachlan is willing to put her neck out for us, J. Paul Brown is still busy denying human-caused climate change. We need a representative that will make decisions based on science and reason, not political ideology.
As a long-time educator, community leader and passionate environmentalist, Barbara McLachlan has the leadership necessary to work across party lines to get things done, which is why I’m voting for her to be our state representative in November.
