Vote to retain Aichele as treasurer

Please vote for Allison Aichele for county treasurer in the primary and general election. She has transformed the department from no tech to high tech and deserves to continue to run it well into the future!

Her detractors fail to recognize that audits are a standard business practice for treasurer operations, and that one plowing for one snowstorm (remember them?) costs far more than any audit. If one of her challengers won, their departments would surely be needed to be audited regularly also!

Under Allison Aichele’s leadership, the time to process and deposit checks has been reduced to the minimum possible time before checks are cashed through lock box bank deposits. Treasurers are highly restricted by law in types of investments, and no challenger could produce better results given those restrictions. Her challengers would experience months, if not years, learning the laws and processes that Allison and her staff have mastered.

In my business career, I ran a multinational corporation 25 times the size of anything Tim Walsworth has managed, and Colton Black may be a banker where the systems have been operating for many decades and likely knows little about the financial reporting processes. Working with the auditors and financial professionals surely taught me that management and marketing skills have no place running the accounting systems.

Please vote for Allison Aichele in the primary and general election to insure that our county finances continue to be well run in professional hands.
